ANKLE ANTLER boots are made from heavy buffalo and lined with natural shearling. The ankle antler boots do NOT have non-skid soles but the buffalo is so thick that it will wear for a long time.They can be worn outside but they are slippery on wet surfaces and should NOT be worn in the rain. The boots may seem too tight even though they are the right shoe size. This is because of the thickness of the shearling. They will "relax" within 20 minutes of wear . Your toe should come to the end of the boot comfortably for a proper fit. The boots are machine washable. Wash in cool water and mild detergent. Remove immediately and be sure to stretch to your foot before they are completely dry. Treat the buffalo with neatsfoot oil, mink oil or water seal such as Thompson's.
